There is nothing worse than cold hands but as the weather (eventually) warms up, the gloves we use to keep warm in the dead of winter are just too hot and bulky — but our hands are still cold. Luckily, Gordini Gloves, a glove manufacturer founded in Canada with US headquarters in Essex Junction, VT, has designed a line of gloves for the transition to a more comfortable temperature while still providing the protection, grip and dexterity for spring skiing, fat biking, cross country skiing or just everyday use.
And, if someone is to know how to keep warm, it’s a Canadian.
Of course Gordini has a full line of winter gloves, but for those who can’t wait for spring to arrive, here is its latest line of spring gloves:
—Gordini Spring Gloves are for those days when you need a little protection from the chill. These gloves are made with a textured spandex shell, genuine goatskin palm, accents and reinforcements, moisture-wicking lining and elastic wrist strap with hook and loop closure.
— Gordini Camber Gloves, which is engineered with the company’s signature 3-D knit technology, is waterproof, windproof and ultra-breathable. It also features seamless, water-resistant knit panels that add warmth without bulk. Adding even more protection and dexterity are durable goatskin and synthetic leather in high-impact areas. You can wear it under or over your jacket sleeves thanks to a flexible cuff with pull-tab closure.
— Gordini RunAbout Gloves are the perfect everyday cool weather glove. LavaWool
® lining wicks away moisture and keeps hands warm whether you’re pitching a tent, taking a long hike or riding a bike to work.
— Gordini Tempo Gloves features stretch fleece lining and touchscreen-capable fingertips so you don’t have to remove your gloves to check messages.
Founded in 1956, the company has been an innovator and industry leader ever since. In 1970 it introduced the first down and leather ski mitts, and a decade later, was one of the first to launch Gore-Tex
® gloves, a partnership that continues today. The company still kept innovating and expanding its line of gloves including launching a down glove collection, a snowboarding glove collection (under the label Drop Mfg), and MadGrip, injection-molded gloves, which are a staple for mechanics, construction workers and tradespeople who work outdoors or in cold environments.
In 2015 Gordini launched 3-D knit gloves with patented ErgoKnit technology that reduces seams in high-impact areas and a few years later developed CLUTCH™ synthetic leather. They also have a line of goggles, mittens and face protection.
