igloos are located on Lindblad’s state-of-the-art polar vessels — the National Geographic Endurance and the National Geographic Resolution, and allows guests to have amazing views of the polar landscape and nighttime sky.
During the day the igloos are “open use,” and guests can relax on the daybed with faux fur throws. For the “by reservation” overnights, each igloo is transformed for a luxurious night’s sleep with a two-person teak wood bed warmed by twin hot-water bottles in the traditional Scandinavian way and appointed with cozy comforters and bedding.
Plush robes and oversized fleece-lined capes allow guests to venture outside at night to enjoy the adjacent infinity hot tubs or look up at never-before-seen polar stars.
